HOW RANKINGS WORK
Understanding your ELO rating and player class
What is an ELO rating?

Every player starts at 1000 points. After each confirmed match, points move from the loser to the winner — but the amount depends on who was expected to win.

Beat a stronger player
+24 pts
Big reward — upset win
Beat an equal player
+16 pts
Standard match
Beat a weaker player
+8 pts
Expected win, small gain
Lose to a weaker player
-24 pts
Upset loss, big penalty
This means beating stronger players is always worth more than beating weaker ones. You cannot inflate your rating by only playing beginners.
Player classes
U
Unranked fewer than 5 matches

Still getting started. Play 5 confirmed matches to earn your first class.

D
Class D below 950 pts

Developing player. Still building consistency. More losses than wins — keep playing, ratings always recover with improvement.

C
Class C 950 – 1099 pts

Solid club player. Competitive with most members. Wins and losses are roughly balanced. The most common class in the club.

B
Class B 1100 – 1299 pts

Strong player. Consistently beats most club members. Better tactical awareness, good shot placement, fewer unforced errors.

A
Class A 1300+ pts

Elite club player. Dominates most matchups. Controls rallies, reads opponents well, and wins under pressure. Club champion material.

How to move up a class

Challenge and beat players above your current class — the rating gain is highest.

Play consistently. More matches mean your rating reflects your true level faster.

Only confirmed matches count. Unconfirmed or disputed matches have no ELO effect.

A 200-point gap means the stronger player wins about 76% of the time — so upsets are possible and rewarding.

The leaderboard is sorted by ELO rating, not by win count. A player with 8 wins against strong opponents can rank higher than one with 12 wins against weaker ones.
